Darlington circuits are commonly used in applications where high gain and high input impedance are required, such as in audio amplifiers, motor drivers, and sensor interfaces. They are also used in applications where low noise and high sensitivity are important, such as in medical devices and instrumentation. Additionally, Darlington circuits are used in power switching applications due to their ability to handle high currents. **

A postmodern novel is a literary work that challenges traditional narrative structures and techniques. It often incorporates elements of metafiction, intertextuality, and self-reflexivity, blurring the boundaries between fiction and reality. Postmodern novels also tend to explore themes of fragmentation, ambiguity, and the breakdown of traditional values and beliefs. Authors such as Thomas Pynchon, Don DeLillo, and Salman Rushdie are known for their contributions to the postmodern novel genre. **

A suitable replacement for the Darlington transistor BC879 would be the BC517. The BC517 is also a Darlington transistor with similar electrical characteristics and performance. It can be used as a direct substitute for the BC879 in most applications without requiring any significant changes to the circuit design. Additionally, the BC517 is readily available and widely used, making it a convenient replacement option. **

Postmodern theater is characterized by its rejection of traditional narrative structures and linear storytelling. Instead, it often features fragmented narratives, non-linear timelines, and a blurring of reality and fiction. Postmodern theater also frequently incorporates elements of pastiche, irony, and self-referentiality, challenging the audience's expectations and questioning the nature of theatrical performance itself. Overall, the structure of postmodern theater is experimental, unconventional, and often aims to disrupt traditional theatrical conventions. **

Some famous poems in postmodern poetry include "The Waste Land" by T.S. Eliot, "Howl" by Allen Ginsberg, and "The Dream Songs" by John Berryman. These poems are known for their experimental forms, fragmented narratives, and themes of disillusionment and alienation. Postmodern poetry often challenges traditional poetic conventions and explores the complexities of modern life. **

Postmodern and contemporary literature are not the same thing, although they are often used interchangeably. Postmodern literature refers to a specific movement in literature that emerged in the mid-20th century and is characterized by a skepticism towards grand narratives, a focus on fragmentation and intertextuality, and a blurring of the boundaries between fiction and reality. Contemporary literature, on the other hand, simply refers to literature that is being written and published in the present day. While some contemporary literature may exhibit postmodern characteristics, not all contemporary literature is postmodern, and vice versa. **

Some well-known poems in postmodern poetry include "The Waste Land" by T.S. Eliot, "Howl" by Allen Ginsberg, and "A Coney Island of the Mind" by Lawrence Ferlinghetti. These poems are characterized by their experimental forms, fragmented narratives, and themes of disillusionment and alienation. Postmodern poetry often challenges traditional poetic conventions and explores the complexities of modern life. **

One famous quote from the postmodern era is by Jean-Francois Lyotard, who said, "Simplifying to the extreme, I define postmodern as incredulity towards metanarratives." This quote reflects the skepticism and rejection of grand, overarching narratives that characterized the postmodern era. It highlights the idea that postmodernism questions the validity and authority of any single, universal truth or narrative. **
